8. Solar Simulator Class (AAA / ABA etc.)

Solar simulators are classified according to their performance in spectral match, spatial uniformity, and temporal stability.

International standards such as IEC 60904-9 and ASTM E927 define classes such as A, B, and C for each of these parameters.

A solar simulator rated AAA represents the highest class in all three categories: spectral match, uniformity, and stability.

Other classifications such as ABA or ABB indicate different performance levels in each parameter.

By referring to the simulator class, users can compare systems objectively and select equipment suitable for their measurement requirements.
