Measurement Procedure

This test evaluates the reproducibility and stability of irradiance when illumination is resumed after the shutter has been closed.

Before the test, the solar simulator was sufficiently warmed up until stable irradiance conditions were reached.

  1. The shutter was opened and irradiance at the center of the illumination area was confirmed using a pyranometer.
  2. The shutter was closed and the illumination was blocked for a specified duration.
  3. The shutter was reopened to resume illumination.
  4. The temporal change of irradiance was recorded immediately after the shutter reopening.
  5. The test was repeated under different shutter-closure durations.

This procedure allows evaluation of irradiance recovery behavior and stability after shutter reopening.

Irradiance was measured at the center of the illumination area.
The measurement position corresponds to the center of the effective irradiation area of each model.

The tests were conducted under the following conditions:

  • Irradiance setting: 1 SUN
  • Measurement position: center of illumination area
  • Shutter operation: manual or standard system operation
  • Environment: indoor laboratory environment

The solar simulator remained continuously lit during the test.
